This is Socket.IO chat app with use of Node JS in the backend.
This is chat app with the use of socket.IO npm package and also with the use of mongoDB we stored our chat data into robust database using mongoose library also it has CRUD functionalities and also we have implemented moment js library for DateTIme when someone messages on to the app plus there is list of online users who ever logged in the app it will directly reflects to it.
To use our chat app 1. Enter Any Username you'd like 2. Enter Message in chat area and you will get messages from multiple users back and forth and also you can see list of online users

I'm not sure if I'm missing something but it appears to be just a basic socket.io chat example?
Worked as expected here. Was eager to see what people wrote already but guess the “history” isn’t shown at this point. But yeah, the basics are in place and working but think it needs more work and attention to go beyond the “example” state and instead become something fun and unique
A solid working implementation with socket.io, and that's commendable. I particularly like how the timestamps on the messages don't say things like "34 minutes ago" but instead give the actual timestamp. That's so much better for usability. I think it would be nice if pressing enter sent the message and shift-enter gave me a newline, but that's probably just because other chat apps have trained me to expect that.
