Love the new-age spin on the old concept of a virtual pet. The ASCII art is really impressive. It really gives the whole thing a retro, nostalgic feeling.
Angular failed in Firefox, but worked in Chromium :(
My pet starved constantly :-/
Haha cute :)
This is hilarious and works perfectly, great job!
Very interesting idea and neat design!
I love this! Brings back my childhood memories! :)
Its kinda fun. Interesting because its different, but not that engaging. need more feedback, like more clear moves from the pet. (It just stayed in one place)
Heh, nice :D

tamagotchi reborn! my pet is so needy! i'm excited to see what this game evolves in to!
Just a heads up that I am not a huge fan of these games, so I tried my best to stay objective. Everything seems to work, so that's an automatic bonus in my book for a competition entry. I thought the animations were hard to distinguish. The pace also seemed a little slow, but again, this could have to do with not being able to see a lot of variation in some of the animations. I'm not sure of the innovative here, since there have been cli games around since the dawn of modern computers, and there are many tamigotchi-style games available over the internet.
Probably to take this to the next level, you could do something where you can interact with other WebPETs in some fashion (i.e. minigames, stats comparison, etc.). On that note, it would be neat to have a stats history available somewhere, so I could see how many times I've cleaned/played/fed/etc. my pet.
Overall, I think this was well done - good job, LumpySquirrels!
The design/interaction method got a genuine laugh-out-loud; great stuff!
This looks absolutely brilliant, great design and sleek UI! Color choice is spot-on, allowing the user to enjoy the beauty of the ASCII art. The simplicity of the commands and instructions also work really well. Thanks for bringing me back to my Tamagotchi days!
I love this! I really want to just install it and use it in my own terminal. I know other people who would love to do the same
it was a tad bit boring
Super fun idea and brings back some memories of high school! I love that it was built as a terminal application and the design is excellent.
Would like to see up arrow cycle through the command history. Loved the graphics style.
I like the style, mostly because it made me reminisce about my old Digimon device.
It would be nice if there were a few more interactions available and if the pet would move around the screen.
Its so cute, love the idea. WIsh it was a little less needy and could be like a twice a day thing in an actual cli.
