This is superb - art is stunning, sound effects are nostalgic, and game design is simple but addicting! I truly felt like I was at an arcade or playing one of those old games from childhood before phones and the Internet ruled the world. Thank you for taking me back to that time. I love how vicious the yeti is, and the scoring system feels well-balanced: I played a game in which I lasted longer but scored much lower because I ended up missing a lot of the goals.

I love the game, I found it really fun considering I never cared for the original.I also really enjoy that you put the game inside a old computer screen, gives almost an arcade type feel.

I do wish however that the game didn't lose my mouse when I moved it off the canvas, but once I realized what I was doing it was pretty easy to not do it anymore.

Love the detail of the animation. And the vintage computer was a nice touch. You guys should add a CRT shader!

  We actually looked into a scanline + subtle bow (like a crt glass front) overlay but 1) time restraints made us polish off other aspects first and 2) it only works (nicely) if you can ensure phaser is utilising WebGL. We're definitely going to expand on it after the comp and maybe adapt it for iOS.

Sorry, I can't play games with high velocity.

I would like to have a way to slow down since I managed to escape the yeti but the trees are passing by too fast. (Note: I never get on skies in my life.)

Quite a fun little game, brought back memories I had forgotten about!

I liked the use of the retro computer as a background image adding to the feel of the game style. The SFX suited the pixel graphics well.

The game play was simple which adds to the fun, although the mouse control felt a bit weird.

Not sure how innovative this was or how much Node was used, but it was certainly interesting!

UPDATE:
Team replied quickly to clarify initial comments. If there were a rating for 'customer service' it would be pretty high ;)

  how much node? like.. all of it. server, compiler, etc.

  as for gameplay, we aimed for a mobile first approach so the mouse-down to move is a byproduct of touch. I was considering using arrow keys like the old school ski free but our initial version was too jerky and i preferred the feeling of whizzing to-and-fro between trees :D

Nice take on a classic game.
Loading was quite slow (maybe my Internet connection) and it wasn't clear if it was still loading after the first click.
Fun to play once it was all downloaded though.

Loved the entry! Great fun to play!

My only suggestion would be to be able to control the game with just the mouse position (no dragging).

Love the retro style box art ( and the animation) and the game graphics!

Great game, captured the spirit of the original. I do wish I was just slowed down or maybe penalized bonus points when I hit a tree instead of just dying.
